The Business of Broadway: Passion Meets Strategy with Tony Award Winner, Jennifer Melin Miller

Jennifer Melin Miller is a theater producer, entrepreneur, business development and nonprofit consultant and community board member.  After an early career in print media in New York City at companies including Time Inc, The New York Times and a division of Condé Nast, Jennifer returned to her home state of Minnesota where she worked in nonprofit management at Minnesota Public Radio and international business development at Minnetonka Moccasin before branching out independently as a consultant and entrepreneur.  Jennifer turned her life-long passion for theater into a business, investing in and producing commercial productions on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in London on the West End and regionally.  As a co-producer, she has received several Tony Award nominations, winning a Tony Award for Best Musical in 2019 for Hadestown.  Jennifer has served on several arts and community nonprofit boards, including currently the Guthrie Theater, Mission Animal Hospital, the Planned Parenthood North Central States Foundation and Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS's Leadership Circle.
